Position Summary:
We are currently recruiting for a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Programs Coordinator at (ISC)2. Under the direction of the Director, DEI, the External DEI Programs Coordinator supports the development and implementation of proactive diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and programs to drive DEI within the cyber profession where everyone has a sense of belonging, an opportunity to succeed and contribute to our mission to Inspire a Safe and Secure Cyber World. Job duties and responsibilities will include assisting the Director, DEI with developing and implementing the external DEI strategic plan and yield KPIs for all programs.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide program support for DEI events. This includes speaker identification, logistics for events, and development of our DEI presence at industry events such as DEI panels, keynotes, webinars, industry conference presence, (ISC)2 conferences, and other global events.
  • Pipeline building of underrepresented ethnic groups, women, veterans, and LGBTQ+, and those with nontraditional backgrounds into the organization and the cyber profession
  • Assist with planning and logistical coordination of events and event sponsorship presence, including the new Global DEI Summit
  • Utilize data to identify opportunities to grow DEI effort for targeted diverse group
  • Assist with implementation of DEI programs including partner events, our DEI Partner Summit, in-person and virtual DEI events, and research projects and the development of toolkits and guides
  • May require travel domestically and internationally in support of DEI efforts across all programs
  • Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate DEI programming and efforts throughout the organization and to garner support for our DEI initiatives
  • Partnership development, engagement and relationship management
  • Monitor and report on DEI initiative benchmarks
  • Provide support for the implementation of (ISC)2’s DEI Awards program
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution and three (3) years progressively responsible experience related to the area of assignment, or, an equivalent combination of training and experience.
