Job Description

Robins Kaplan LLP, a litigation focused Am Law 200 firm with ~200 attorneys in seven offices, is searching for a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Leader (“DEI Leader”) based in the Minneapolis, MN headquarters office.


The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Leader will work collaboratively with firm leaders to plan, communicate, and implement new strategies for hiring, retaining, and promoting talent from historically underrepresented backgrounds.


You will have a significant role in developing and executing firm-wide strategies and practices to advance the firm’s diversity, equity, and inclusion goals. This is a highly visible and strategic role serving as the primary point of contact and support for the firm’s DEI Committee, Co-Chairs, and DEI working groups.


The DEI Leader will serve as a champion of the firm’s diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and collaborate with internal committees and departments focused on hiring, professional development, mentoring, legal project management, and marketing to further the firm’s DEI objectives.


The DEI Leader will design programs and training, execute events and meetings, and serve as a resource to firm members at all levels on diversity issues. This individual will collaborate with firm leadership to ensure a culture of respect and inclusion.


The ideal candidate is a proven DEI leader with experience and subject matter expertise in a prior diversity, equity, and inclusion role. Robins Kaplan LLP is seeking an exceptional leader with a demonstrated ability to deliver effective culture transformation results in DEI.


This position requires a bachelor’s degree and a proven track record of successfully leading a DEI function in a professional services or law firm environment.
