Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional development/training and on-going support to Promethean customers in assigned account and build long-term relationships, securing future hardware, software and services sales
  • Design and deliver high-impact training material for teachers and other professional staff for both on-line and asynchronous delivery
  • Facilitate the development of mentoring and induction programs, guided teacher observations, leadership cadres, instructional support videos, and Professional Learning Communities to expand teacher leadership opportunities
  • Implement and maintain hardware/software update plan for Promethean technology that includes documentation/in person training to support update features
  • Scheduling of all professional development with campuses/sites following installation
  • Develop training schedules in conjunction with District personnel to support Promethean installation and updates
  • Design specific course outcomes for all Promethean professional development courses aligned to District and client standards
  • Collaborate with campus principals to develop and monitor implementation year-long campus based professional learning plans that align to district instructional priorities and campus improvement plans
  • Develop and maintain district specific Google/SharePoint website to support ongoing training and services for the Promethean solution
  • Present in Promethean’s professional development series of events to a national audience to share best practices for integrating Promethean technology into the classroom from their assigned
  • Develop and lead Promethean cohorts to support and empower Promethean lead teachers
  • Develop and design customized learning paths to help customers achieve educational objectives in line with District and client goals
  • Work with district staff/build relationships to identify highest needs, researching approaches for addressing these needs, and developing training approach where appropriate
  • Stay current in all ed-tech trends/state initiatives through Linkedin Learning
  • Analyze district monthly reports to better plan next level Promethean training services
  • Provide Promethean office hours to support District personnel on use of the Promethean solution in their classrooms
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the US to develop/share/improve professional learning materials
  • Collaborate during all Promethean/District/partner/install project calls to support Promethean installation and teacher training and provide teacher insight
  • Create/review personal professional learning plan to improve delivery of professional services
  • Design professional development courses to ensure success of Promethean solutions that align to local/state technology standards and load into District LMS
  • This includes working to determine vision & goals for training, measures of success, partnering with subject matter experts to developing content and determining most effective method for delivery
  • Achieve certification in the LMS chosen by the district/client to seamlessly implement self- paced course materials into District LMS, as well as Google Level 1 and Level 2
  • Work closely to build relationships with assigned district and support their training plans and implementations of Promethean hardware/software (curriculum coaches, mentors, teacher leaders, administrators, professional learning teams)

Job Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to speak in front of large groups of educators is essential
  • Must live locally to the school district to travel in/out of schools daily
  • Results driven, well organized, flexible, and have strong follow-up skills
  • 5 - 10 years of teaching experience in a US classroom
  • Promethean/Interactive Flat Panel experience in both training and content/lesson development
  • Valid Teacher Certification (US)
  • Minimal travel required for regional/national meetings
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to excite/relate to educators at all levels
  • A demonstrated understanding of and experience with research-based approaches to the teaching of reading, writing, mathematics and Common Core
  • Firm understanding of the pedagogy of teaching and learning – shown through the ability to develop / design / deliver exceptional professional development
  • High levels of knowledge on all aspects of educational technology, technology integration, and current education technology trends
  • Understanding of the business side of education to support the pre-sales organization
This position is a 10-month full-time position (with the likelihood of renewal)

Base Range: $60,000 - $67,000 + Bonus Eligible
