Dispatcher Newark Mancan is looking for a second shift dispatcher, however the training would take place during first shift and would be approximately 12-16 weeks. Could be less, but unlikely, and it could be more it just depends on the candidate. Pay rate - $15/hr. during temp period and once we hire them directly they would become a salaried employee Schedule:

• Excellent computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Keep drivers informed of any new information or changes in priority, traffic issues, or inclement weather ahead.
• Analyze, identify and prioritize service requests based on various criteria (safety, weather, traffic, etc.) to ensure police and other emergency calls are handled within established time frames.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Gather information, troubleshoot, monitor and document the progression of roadside assistance requests.
• Provide clear and concise directions to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• 5 days a week (one weekend day off and one weekday off)-Attention to details-Multitasking -Customer service skills -Multiple phone lines at once -Basic computer skills/knowledge -geographic knowledge (local city & county) -Flexible schedule (ability to help cover when needed) -Communication skills (Internal & external) -Money handling / taking payments (credit card, checks, cash) -Dependability -Basic math skills -Bold personality (thick skin)-Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize on the flyQualifications
• Ability to work holidays is a mustFull The successful candidate will be responsible for answering phones, dispatching drivers, entering call information into our towing software, releasing vehicles from the impound lot, as well as managing other office responsibilities. This is a fast-paced environment that requires a high attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. The ability to organize and prioritize is key. Maintaining clear and concise communication while providing excellent customer service both in person and over the phone is crucial.Essential Functions

• Obtain accurate customer/vehicle information to determine what equipment is needed and assign to the appropriate driver.
• Ability to professionally deal with all types of people and personalities
• Answer incoming calls and obtain all pertinent information to route calls to the designated parties.

• Obtain required documentation and release impounded vehicles to their owners as needed.
• Dispatching: 1 year (Preferred)
• Provide excellent customer service both in person and over the phone in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records including vehicle inventory lists, tow log sheet, etc.
• Vehicle/Automotive Knowledge is a plus
• Process customer payments including cash, checks, and credit cards
