The Prologis global marketing team is seeking an ambitious and passionate Director of Solutions Marketing to drive the positioning of our energy, sustainability, and mobility solutions of the Prologis Essentials platform as we drive towards our net zero goal. This person will play an integral role in marketing Prologis Essentials solutions across our renewable energy, sustainability solutions, and mobility offers to convey the total value of Prologis’ solutions to drive decarbonization. You will work with our sustainability minded customers and be on the cutting edge of helping these customers chart their paths forward.


Prologis is already the #2 onsite generator of solar energy. The sustainability solutions you will offer and help roll out will be innovative, meaningful, and exciting. You will play a key role as part of a top-notch team of professionals who are driving value for Prologis as we grow from ~400MW to over 1000MW on our buildings by 2025 in contribution to our net zero by 2040 strategy and the preeminent leader in sustainable logistics as supply chains charge toward decarbonization. We are installing electric vehicle charging, battery storage, investing in renewable energy power purchase agreements (PPAs) and helping our customers understand and reduce carbon emissions on the largest global logistics platform based on GDP throughput (~3%!). We aspire to be the leader in providing sustainable logistics solutions and becoming a decarbonization partner to our customers.


You will focus on commercializing Prologis energy, sustainability, and mobility solutions by leading our B2B solution marketing function through the planning and development of go-to-market strategies and content creation to drive successful offer adoption and revenue growth. You will be responsible for partnering with our energy, sustainability, and mobility commercial teams to shape the marketing strategy and identify new opportunities. This role will lead efforts to plan, create and execute marketing content and sales enablement tools in close collaboration with cross-functional partners to ultimately improve awareness, generate leads and drive revenue.


What's Needed To Do That


  • Craft engaging audience specific content, including solution briefs, web content, presentations, data sheets, whitepapers and sales playbooks that can be utilized globally.
  • Responsible for developing and executing strategic and annual marketing plans that address all aspects of the marketing mix, including content strategies to pull prospects through all phases of the marketing funnel.
  • Lead efforts to validate future product and feature concepts through customer interviews, research and analysis of user data.
  • Develop go-to-market strategy including business goals, definition of target/persona, product naming, differentiated positioning, messaging, and sales narrative to drive customer acquisition and product adoption.
  • Work with Essentials energy leadership, global sales, and our real estate teams to develop marketing programs, sales enablement tools and identify opportunities to expand the business.
  • Develop compelling positioning, value propositions, and marketing materials for new offerings including digital presence.
  • Evangelize energy, sustainability and mobility offers internally and externally to drive adoption and engagement.
  • Lead go-to-market initiatives for new product, features and monetization strategies, partnering with product, business operations, global sales, marketing, and PR.
  • Educate sales, product management, marketing teams and the partner channel about market dynamics, competitive landscape and competitor offerings.
  • Lead content marketing planning and execution including building the strategy, identifying content topics and formats, owning the briefing process into the creative studio and collaborating with the commercial SMEs to deliver high quality assets.


Tell Us If You're Ready


  • Demonstrated ability to form close partnerships across the organization to communicate effectively, gain alignment, and drive execution across sales and sales support functions.
  • Experience working across multiple sales channels, preferably with global or multi-national familiarity.
  • Specific background in sustainability, renewable energy, EV charging, fleet electrification or mobility with minimum of 5 years-experience preferably in a solutions / services business.
  • Commercial marketing experience is a must.
  • Leadership building and developing a best-in-class marketing team.
  • A bias for action and the ability to appropriately balance speed versus perfection.
  • A growth mindset and a sense of curiosity.
  • 10+ years of experience in product/solution marketing, brand management, or equivalent roles, preferably with management and B2B marketing experience.
  • A proven track record of increasing market share through well-executed marketing and successful delivery of go-to-market activities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Collaborative nature – desire to help others succeed.


Hiring Salary Range of $185,000-$210,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target and long-term incentive plan) to be determined by the candidate’s location, education, experience, and skills, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
