Analog Devices’ Software Engineering Solutions group is seeking an experienced data-driven Director of Software Quality Assurance to oversee the quality of cutting-edge new software product solutions for next generation products. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading software quality assurance activities and drive customer quality resolutions.
Job requirement:
  • Management of a global team of Software Quality Engineers (SQE)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to influence and drive processes across the company
  • Able to lead ISO9001 audits
  • Ability to work in large diverse teams and promote positive team culture
  • Experience leading customer quality incident resolutions
  • Degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of software quality experience
  • Experience with CMMI Audits
  • Expert in root cause analysis methodologies
  • Adept user of Microsoft Office tools
Job responsibilities:
  • Work closely with corporate quality on software standards
  • Interface directly with customers on quality incidents
  • Coordinate ISO-9001 assessments
  • Lead efforts to root cause customer quality issues
  • Promote continuous improvement and risk-based thinking
  • Drive improvement plans with teams
  • Lead internal audits of software teams to ensure compliance with processes
  • Develop SQA KPIs and report performance
  • Define internal processes and train teams
  • Drive maturity model implementation
  • Lead quality management reviews and SEPG meetings
The ideal candidate is energetic and self-motivated with experience in software quality assurance, leading teams driving high-quality mature processes, and the ability to communicate and work effectively with business and technical teammates at all levels of the organization.
For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. As such, applicants for this position – except US Citizens, US Permanent Residents, and protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) – may have to go through an export licensing review process.
