Responsibilities
Lead and manage all client distribution and supply chain operations to ensure smooth and efficient processes
Identify and implement additional value opportunities for our clients, supporting the organic growth of client accounts
Drive productivity, quality, and safety standards to meet company and customer requirements
Develop and maintain operational processes and procedures, analyzing performance and suggesting improvements
Provide direction, development, and leadership to managers and supervisors
Research and evaluate automation solutions based on product profile and activity levels
Achieve financial, safety, quality, and customer service objectives while complying with policies and regulations
Ensure accurate and timely submission of key quality, financial, and safety reports
Recruit, train, develop, and appraise staff effectively, taking corrective action when necessary
Collaborate with departmental managers and supervisors to plan and coordinate plant activities for timely and cost-effective outcomes
Foster a culture of innovation and success that values diversity, inclusivity, and the unique contributions of every team member
Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of managerial/supervisory experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with computerized scanner equipment
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends as needed
Preferred: Bachelor's or master's degree
Preferred: Availability to travel up to 75% of the time
Preferred: Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
Preferred: Experience in supply chain management within a distribution environment
Preferred: Lean, Six Sigma, and Continuous Process Improvement experience
Preferred: Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment
Preferred: Working knowledge of financial accounting and human resources practices
Preferred: Success in building a diverse and inclusive workforce and fostering a culture of belonging
