Job Description

As part of a mission centric, locally delivered and nationally powered organization this role serves as a leader focused on generating, qualifying and securing new business leads resulting in high impact fundraising while working across the mission and campaign teams within the development department to fully understand business needs and identify and target corporate partners with strategic alignment. Relentlessly pursuing cancer cures.

Accountabilities


Mission Integration


  • Work in partnership with Education Services and Health Research department to effectively communicate the LLS overall mission, programs, resources, and priorities.


High Impact Fundraising


  • Collaborate and partner with teams across mission, Healthcare partnerships, advancement and the development department to fully understand business needs and identify and target corporate partners with strategic alignment
  • Lead and develop a comprehensive strategy to identify and secure new or existing National Corporate Partners to generate $25M+ in revenue annually to drive the mission of the organization forward
  • Meet annual revenue targets, ensuring personal portfolio drives a minimum of $5M+ new revenue annually
  • Well versed in consultative sales ensuring above average close rates
  • Maximize revenue potential by building robust pipelines and delivering compelling proposals that build mutually beneficial partnerships and align with short-term and long-term strategic goals


Strategic Planning & Process


  • Conduct 15+ revenue driving meetings monthly
  • Serve as the strategic Corporate revenue leader to continuously expand corporate philanthropic portfolio meeting aggressive revenue goals
  • Identify leadership and donors to fuel peer to peer fundraising and Advancement
  • Accurately forecast incoming revenue at 90 and 30 days.
  • Collaborate across regions and departments as part of a robust account team ensuring all stakeholders are included, consulted, informed and engaged in partnership movement
  • Collaborate and cultivate relationships with new partners to maximize donations, including corporate donations, employee engagement, corporate foundation, event sponsorship/participation, consumer and vendor engagement and media/promotion opportunities.
  • Actively manage a personal book of business of 80-100 prospects


Staff & Volunteer Leadership Development


  • Staff lead for the Corporate Council
  • Partner with volunteer leaders as brand ambassadors through cultivation and strategic alignment, outlining and mapping relationships to secure c-suite meetings
  • High-performing sales team that exceeds corporate revenue goals


Perform other duties as assigned.


Essential Qualifications


  • Proven track record of personally closing a minimum of $5M annually in new revenue
  • 10-15+ years of progressively responsible related experience
  • Proven track record of securing new multi-million dollar partnerships


Education


  • Bachelor's Degree, advanced degree preferred


Physical Demands & Work Environment


  • Average salary range is $136K-$177K, open to further discussion based on geography
  • Work environment is representative and typical of similar jobs in comparable organizations
  • Travel approximately 35% of time
