Director Of Supply Chain & Operations

We are currently assisting our global client with a Director of Supply Chain & Operations search located in the Cleveland-Akron, OH area. Reporting to the President, this successful candidate will oversee the enterprise supply chain function and the execution of its vision, goals, strategy and initiatives. The Director will be responsible for leading a team and providing strategic direction to ensure a practical adoption of the global performance targets into the supply chain function. This is a highly visible, high-impact position where a successful candidate will have the opportunity to play a decisive role in the future success and growth of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the SIOP process by working cross-functionally to ensure customer satisfaction and support the global annual operating plan
• Implement logistics improvement actions and minimize quality complaints
• Lead and work hand-in-hand with the supply chain team to develop and implement programs that will help manage the organization’s sales growth
• Build and develop a supply chain organizational culture that has a bias for action, commitment to value-added services/processes, and a sense of accountability and leadership

Requirements:

• 10+ years of related supply chain experience
• Lean & Six Sigma experience strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree
