Job Description

Our client is looking for a Director of Supply Chain to lead a strategic initiative at a growing energy company. This role is located west of Kansas City and is onsite.


As a key member of the Supply Chain Management Leadership Team, you will be responsible for building and guiding the Supply Chain Planning Team to develop a resilient supply chain. This includes managing demand, supply, production, and inventory planning.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute short-term and long-term supply chain strategies
  • Implement risk management practices for efficient and resilient operations
  • Lead talent management initiatives to attract top supply chain professionals
  • Deploy modern supply chain tools for optimal inventory management
  • Drive ERP system implementation in collaboration with Business Transformation and IT
  • Oversee supply chain performance, working closely with Commercial teams and customers


Qualifications:

  • Industry certifications like ASCM/APICS and PMP are preferred
  • Strong background in ERP and SCM Systems implementation
  • 15+ years in Supply Chain, Production, or Procurement
  • Experience in Energy, Technology, or Electronics industry
  • S&OP expertise is necessary
  • Lean Continuous Improvement experience required, Six Sigma certifications a plus
