Overview:

At Foot Locker our supply chain is at the core of who we are and how we create the best possible experience for our end-consumers both in store and online. From our 3 Distribution centers in US and Milton, Canada, operated by our 3rd party logistics partner Ceva (3PL), and in conjunction with our transportation partners, we supply merchandise and supplies to our NA stores and ship online orders directly to our end-consumers.

Our Global Supply Chain organization consists of professionals in: Warehouse Operations, Transportation, 3PL & Carrier Management, Continuous Improvement, Supply Chain systems, HR, and Finance. Our Global Foot Locker’s Supply Chain organization serves 28 countries in North America, EMEA and APAC GEOs under the brand names Foot Locker, Lady Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker, Footaction, Champs Sports WSS and Atmos.

The Director of NA SC Operation Excellence is responsible to support the strategic plan and execution of NA Foot Locker’s Supply Chain Strategic Initiatives. This individual will report to the VP of Global Supply Chain Transformation and Ops Excellence. This Role will be based in our distribution center in Camp Hill, PA. This individual will be partnering with Camp Hill DC leaders to drive operation efficiency and effectiveness including all process, engineering, and the identification/implementation of improvement opportunities.

As leader of Global Supply Chain Strategy and Transformation team, this individual will partner with other DC and GEO leaders to drive supply chain capabilities, transformation, and innovation including network of the future, omnichannel convenience, end-to-end flow improvements, and digital/technology capabilities. One of the key responsibilities of this role will be to attract, retain and develop quality talent to grow and build a high performing team.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the identification and implementation of process improvement projects, methods, tools, guidelines, and standards to establish a stable framework that supports all parts of the supply chain organization.
  • Lead cross functional change management and bolt-on innovation (software, robotics, RFID,ect.)
  • Improve/develop organization talent to drive current and future skills/capability needs
  • Responsible to drive continuous improvement/lean methodologies and culture.
  • Identify and resolve highly complex supply chain problems in a timely manner; Gather and analyze information skillfully; Develop alternative solutions.
  • Design/Develop/Execute various level of Supply Chain Projects (Ex: SC capital, DC Start-ups/Retrofit/Automation) in terms of stated goals, particularly around cost savings and strategy targets.


Overall Functional Leadership:

  • Conceptualize a future state in relatable terms to site operations teams/executive leaders and develop the change management plan to implement effectively and efficiently.
  • Act as liaison for Supply Chain Operation for continuous improvement/lean methodologies.
  • Effectively manage and leverage team’s talent, skills, and abilities to drive department strategies and develop future leaders for the organization.
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with the ability to simplify complex processes and present/influence ideas in a clear and concise manner to Sr. Leadership.

Qualifications:
  • Leadership experience with Continuous improvement/Lean methodologies [Certification Preferred].
  • Demonstrate structured thinking to solve problems, conduct data driven root cause analysis and implement short/long term solutions
  • Ability to effectively manage both internal and external vendor/contractor/consultant relationships.
  • Ability to travel 25-50% of the time.
  • Experience in leading/directing warehouse operation/teams
  • Demonstrated ability to own omni-channel projects, think big and influence across all levels
  • Possess detailed understanding of financial statements and resulting cost implications
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and 5 years managing complex supply chain projects
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Experience with DC technology (WMS, OMS, TMS, LMS) [Implementation Preferred]

Benefits:
This is a salaried position paid monthly. The anticipated annual compensation range for this role is $125,000 - $175,000; however, qualifications and experience will be considered. (Provide low-mid range.)
