Job Description
  • Prepares reports and analyses reflecting trends in disability related services and provides recommendations or conclusions as appropriate
  • Supports human resources leadership and staff and confers with legal counsel to facilitate compliance with the ADA and other disability-related employment laws
  • 20 Vacation days accrued annually
  • You communicate with impact and authenticity and inspire confidence, understand nuance, and listen deeply.
  • Master’s degree in human resource management or related field preferred
  • Advises and trains supervisors in best ADA practices and strategies for managing ADA requests
  • Provides technical expertise regarding the ADA and applicable federal, state, and local statutes, regulations and ordinances to SSD employees and district leaders

  • Provides technical expertise regarding the ADA and applicable federal, state, and local statutes, regulations and ordinances

  • Minimum of 5 years experience leading ADA compliance duties required
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Bachelor’s degree in counseling, vocational rehabilitation, special education or related field required
