Director Of Procurement Jobs

Summary

The Director of Procurement will be responsible for developing a strategic sourcing and procurement process for SALT Dental Collective. Responsibilities will include building and standardizing the procurement processes, identifying, and implementing toolsets to streamline the overall process and provide insights into spending trends across the SALT portfolio of locations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Works with accounts payable to ensure timely payment of invoices
• Negotiate pricing and rebate structure for new and existing vendor contracts.
• Maintain accurate purchase and pricing records
• Assist in the preparation of annual budget as it relates to equipment, services, and supplies
• Audit and analyze usage and pricing of products to ensure proper contracted pricing
• Create and provide procurement reports for sites and identify improvement opportunities
• Evaluate current processes, implementing changes to enhance workflow and delivery of goods
• Lead the RFP process for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies
• Other duties as needed or required
• Research and evaluate prospective suppliers

Requirements

Basic Qualifications: Experience & Skills

• Experience developing internal and external partnerships
• Ability to work in a fast-moving environment
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the healthcare industry
• Strategic and analytical focused
• Attention to detail
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, finance, or business management
• Ability to work cross functionally with all business departments
• MBA (not required but preferred)
