Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Director of Continuous Improvement to lead and drive our organization's efforts in enhancing operational efficiency, productivity, and overall performance. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in identifying opportunities for process optimization, implementing best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the execution of improvement projects, ensuring timely completion, adherence to budget, and achievement of desired outcomes.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization by promoting awareness, understanding, and enthusiasm for process optimization.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive continuous improvement strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Provide guidance and support to teams in adapting to changes, overcoming challenges, and embracing new ways of working.
- Monitor project milestones, track progress, and address any obstacles or issues that may arise.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure smooth transitions.
- Develop and present data-driven recommendations to senior leadership for informed decision-making.
- Leverage data analytics and reporting tools to gather insights and measure the impact of process improvements.
- Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and enhance overall operational effectiveness.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees at all levels on continuous improvement methodologies and tools.
- Lead cross-functional teams in conducting thorough process assessments to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Identify potential risks and challenges associated with process changes and improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish performance targets for various departments.
- Mentor and coach teams to foster a culture of problem-solving and innovation.
- Collaborate closely with department heads, managers, and front-line employees to gather insights, share best practices, and drive alignment towards improvement goals.
The Target Candidate will have:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a data-driven mindset.
- Effective change management skills and the ability to inspire and lead teams through transformational change.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role within continuous improvement or operations.
- Exceptional project management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Senior management experience in a large complex organization including influencing senior management and critical stakeholder responsibility
