Position: Director of Philanthropy


The purpose of the Director of Philanthropy is to lead the Grant Cardone Foundation initiatives. You will plan and implement foundation, corporate and individual donor cultivation, stewardship, outreach events and activities. A successful candidate for this role will be able to optimize the charitable support of the Grant Cardone Foundation.


RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Maintain accurate records of donor outreach and solicitation plans through regular upkeep of donor database.
  • Manages and helps create a pool of prospects and donors with the capacity to give at the major gift level to create and grow the donor pipeline.
  • Secure one-on-one in-person donor meetings and solicitations to establish or strengthen donor relationships for long term support.
  • Solicit and secure gifts at the major gift level, including multi-year gifts. This will include identification, cultivation, and stewardship of high-net-worth individuals, with a heavy focus on prospecting for new donors.
  • Special projects and other responsibilities as needed.
  • Maintain all record of all foundation efforts for finance, company website and social media documentation proposes.
  • Shape and edit donor correspondences such as letters, emails, funding proposals and reports.
  • Create and execute annual and long-term strategic plan to ensure fundraising goals are met.
  • Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth donors and prospects in our market to generate significate support for the Grant Cardone Foundation.
  • Engage and cultivate donor support for annual fundraising event as well as other South Florida events, and assist in the production of the events as needed.
  • Become knowledgeable of Grant Cardone Enterprises and our vast programs for the purpose of effective outreach initiatives, using available resources and opportunities.


QUALIFICATIONS

Experience, Competencies and Education:


  • Ability to present information concisely and accurately, with keen attention to detail.
  • Gifted, inspiring communicator, experienced in leading memorable workshops, presentations
  • Comfortability interacting with high-profile clients and industry professionals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Recent hands-on experience with philanthropic work, events, fundraising and coordination of donations and related activities.
  • Professional business skills, such as negotiation, project management, and leadership.
  • Love of helping underserved adolescents
  • Experience with capital campaigns preferred.
  • 5 to 7 years of proven experience as a Director of Philanthropy required.
  • Computer software skills including Microsoft Office, Google Suite and Mac operating systems.
  • Enthusiastic about forging partnerships with like-minded charitable groups and implementing financial literacy educational curriculum across the globe.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of comprehensive fundraising experience.
  • Enthusiasm, a commitment to excellence, motivational ability, and the ability to successfully interact with high net-worth individuals.


This is a full-time position that requires day, evening, and weekend availability. This position is located in Aventura, Florida and some travel is required.
