Position: Philanthropy Coordinator
The purpose of the Philanthropy Coordinator is to assist with the departmental projects and initiatives such as email marketing campaigns, report preparation, event planning and community outreach. You will assist with report writing, donor cultivation, meetings and events. This position reports directly to the Chief Operations Officer.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide compelling content for strategic program campaigns
- Help organize all records of all foundation efforts for finance, company website and social media documentation proposes
- Maintain accurate records of partner outreach and solicitation plans through regular upkeep of program databases
- Plan and support marketing efforts for sourcing new partners and programs
- Identify and report all key performance indicators for each program
- Ensure that donor records are accurate and up to date
- Assist with events held by Grant Cardone Foundation in collaboration with partners
- Prepare a variety of reports including contact lists, donor history and prospect status using Hubspot information database
- Engage and cultivate partner support for fundraising events, and assist in the production of the events
- Send acknowledgements and thank you emails of all contributors on a timely matter
- Ensure effective and accurate communication with the finance department for records of donations
- Research and identify prospective foundation funders, major donors
- Shape and edit partner correspondences such as letters, emails, proposals and reports
- Aid in the development of budgets for each program
- Act as point of contact for foundation's general external communication ([email protected])
- Coordinate one-on-one in-person partner meetings and solicitations to establish or strengthen partner relationships for long-term collaboration
- Special projects and other responsibilities as needed
- Monitor and update donor information in the fundraising database, (Hubspot)
- Maintain Customer Relation Management, (CRM) system database through Hubspot
- Assist with drafting donor correspondence, including solicitation and acknowledgement letters
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience, Competencies and Education:
- Experience with Hubspot or other CRM software a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Philanthropy Coordinator preferred
- Enthusiasm, a commitment to excellence, motivational ability, and the ability to successfully interact with high net-worth individuals
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred but not required
- Comfortability interacting with high-profile clients and industry professionals
- Recent experience with philanthropic work, events, fundraising and coordination of donations and related actives a plus
- Computer software skills including Microsoft Office, Google Suite and Mac operating systems
This is a full-time position that requires day, evening, and weekend availability. This position is located in Aventura, Florida and some travel is required.
