The Director of Operations is responsible for the oversight of practices within the specified section or region. Each of the practices is managed by a physician Office Medical Director and a Practice Administrator who report up through the Regional Medical Director and Director of Operations. The ideal candidate will be an experienced practice administrator with broad operational expertise, preferably within a multi-site, multi-specialty physician group. The position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities. In addition to overseeing the daily operations of the practices, the Director will implement new programs, develop and implement regional/section strategy for growth and continuously seek opportunities for innovation and process improvement. The Director of Operations will partner with JHM hospitals/entities in their region ongoing and as specific project opportunities arise. The Director of Operations will balance the needs of the practices with the needs and priorities of JHCP and JHM.

This position reports to the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of JHCP and will be member of the JHCP senior leadership team.

Education:

Master’s Degree in Healthcare, Business, Nursing or similar field is required.

Required Licensure, Certfication, etc.

Registered Nurse with valid State of Maryland Nursing License a plus.

Work Experience

Minimum 5 years of management experience in physician practice management that includes financial management.
