Job Summary


The Director of Operations will be responsible for managing all facets of the Operations Unit, including but not limited to creating new relationships with customers, nurturing and maintaining existing customer relationships, planning and execution of projects and taskings, budget planning, quality oversight, and profitability. This role will provide executive leadership for the development and training of Operations personnel, career planning, and ensure the execution of technical and professional excellence, in the technical aspect of the operations cycle with our national clients and prospects. This position must be growth-oriented with an eye for financial and , professional growth, and the development of their direct reports.


Responsibilities


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Provide and maintain technical sales and operational support (e.g., product presentations, architecture reviews, application discussions, prototype development) for key accounts when needed or requested by other members of the Maicom team.
  • Direct territory and national management team conference calls.
  • Maintain overall planning for staffing, budgeting, and changes within the course of the year.
  • Develop and communicate policies that affect sales and Operations.
  • Maintain business relationships with key customers.
  • Establish goals, budgets, operational objectives and work plans for the operational needs of the company.
  • Maintain and manage with Project management team company tools and trucks.
  • Work with team to set and maintain budgets and margins on awarded work.
  • Manage all employees in the Central Division and responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department.
  • Hire, train, and manage all Operations personnel as needed.
  • Operates efficiently and effectively to deliver strong financial results to our owner/partners and company shareholders.
  • Perform site walks and visits as needed.
  • Maintain overall planning for staffing, budgeting.
  • Assure adherence to budgets, schedules, and work plans.
  • Deliver best-in-class service to our clients.
  • Develop and write technical scopes of work for multiple customers.
  • Maintain and manage with Project Management team all awarded work.


Qualifications


Job Experience:


  • Prior success managing a large, diverse team of individuals across different service offerings and in remote offices
  • Prior experience working in the field
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, administration, or communications or the equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Understand operational functions of DC and AC Power and Infrastructure for Telecommunications and Data Center construction
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing process improvements within an organization
  • Deep technical & operational understanding and ability in the Broadband / ISP field
  • Ability to work in Xcel, Salesforce and ProcoreStrong industry relationships
  • Successful history of managing multi-million-dollar programs for the MSO’s and ISP Customers
  • Five to ten years of wireless telecom experience
  • Technical and operational understanding and experience in Telecommunications and Data Center power and infrastructure
