Director of Operations - Crozer Health Medical Group
Responsible for overseeing operations of assigned departments. Supervises Practice Managers and/or Office Managers and Ancillary Support Staff and oversees the management of medical practice activities. Those in this role are expected to allocate 70% of time to Practice Operations, Management and Improvement, 20% strategy, and 10% working with Physician Leadership and Administration on improving practice operations.

- Consultative Approach: Ability to listen and acknowledge varying points of view and convey a level of professionalism and diplomacy that will serve to build and maintain relationships with Physicians, colleagues, staff and patients. Ability to work in a matrix-managed environment and across multiple and diverse groups - effectively connects initiatives across departments.
- Communication and Presentations: Ability to summarize and effectively convey complex and sensitive information to various audiences through different media and forums Self-directed/motivated.
- Conflict Resolution: Comfortable having direct, candid and constructive discussions with any stakeholder to advance implementation objectives and support the organization’s pillars. Job Requirements
Education and Training:
Bachelor’s Degree in Health Services or Healthcare Management
Master’s in Healthcare or Business Administration preferred
Experience and Knowledge:
7-10 years Medical Practice Management experience with a history of increasing responsibility and proven ability to work in highly matrixed teaching environments
Registration, Licensure and/or Certification:
Certification in LEAN and Crucial Conversations is a plus.
