Company Description

Our client is a food manufacturer in El Paso, Texas. They specialize in high-speed food packaging. They are looking for a Director of Operations to oversee their plant.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Operations located in El Paso. The Director of Operations will be responsible for overseeing the company's day-to-day operations, managing staff, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and ensuring the company's financial and operational goals are met.

Qualifications

• Comfortable creating budgets and financial plans for large organizations
• Experience in the El Paso Metropolitan Area is a plus
• Food safety and quality assurance programs should be understood. Focused on quality manufacturing. Has led the organization through audits such as ISO, AIB, SQF, etc.
• Experience in the staffing industry is a plus
• Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures
• Experience in financial management and budgeting
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Experience conducting both internal and external/client negotiations
• Minimum of 10 years experience in operations and five years experience in management or leadership
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
• Demonstrated success in creating creative and practical solutions to increase employee productivity and maximize profitability
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
• Proven experience as a Director of Operations or a similar role
