Director Of Operations Jobs

A leading company in the logistics industry is currently seeking a Director of Operations to join their team. The role will be challenging but also highly rewarding and this leader will be a key voice in the company. For the right executive, this is a fantastic opportunity with great growth prospects. Key duties include:

1) Direct oversight of the continued growth and development of the LTL and FTL mode

2) Provide staff with a strong day-to-day leadership presence

3) Develop SOPs for customer retention, customer growth and success

4) Collaborate with the CEO and lead strategic planning development activities

5) Oversee customer support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction

6) Manage relationships and agreements with external partners/vendors

7) Ensure that the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulations

8) Comply with the company’s policies and procedures

9) Perform other duties as assigned

Critical Requirements

1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field

2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

3) Recent experience in the logistics industry is strongly preferred

4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in operations management
