Job Title: Director of Operations, THWC at Eastbrook Clinic

Overview:
Turnpaugh Health and Wellness along with Eastbrook Well Spring Clinic, a leading medical practice specializing in functional, family and walk-in medicine and on-site medical clinic staffing, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Operations. The Director of Operations will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all aspects of the practice, including human resources, operations, inventory, and overall clinic management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare administration, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving operational excellence. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services as well as launching a new business specifically for the Amish community to the Lancaster population.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
Provide strong leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring effective collaboration and coordination across all departments, across Turnpaugh teams and working directly with the COO, CFO and Director of HR.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation to enhance operational efficiency and patient satisfaction, keeping with Amish morals and beliefs.
Human Resources Management:
Oversee all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee relations.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Promote a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, professional growth, and employee engagement.
Operations and Workflow Management:
Establish and enforce operational standards, protocols, and workflows to optimize efficiency and quality of care.
Monitor and evaluate clinic performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and timely delivery of services.
Streamline administrative processes to enhance productivity and minimize operational costs.
Inventory and Supply Chain Management:
Develop and maintain inventory management systems to ensure adequate supplies and equipment availability.
Monitor inventory levels, track usage, and implement effective supply chain strategies to minimize waste and stock shortages.
Financial Management:
Ensure end of the day reconciliations working with the Director of EWSC.
Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance:
Establish and maintain quality assurance programs to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
Monitor and address any compliance issues, including HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular audits and implement corrective actions to maintain high-quality patient care and safety.
Stakeholder Relations:
Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including physicians, staff, patients, and vendors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to support business growth and collaboration opportunities.
Work with the Turnpaugh team to implement phases two and three and continue to grow the program with a strong emphasis on quality control, Amish beliefs and financial growth for Eastbrook.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field
Proven experience in healthcare operations management, preferably in a medical practice or clinic setting.
Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and quality assurance standards.
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
Proficient in using technology and healthcare management systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and organizational development.
