Job Description

Company Overview

Our client is an emergency services company based in Elgin, IL. They specialize in emergency mitigation and restoration for both residential and commercial properties throughout the whole Chicagoland area and beyond. They are a specialized Catastrophe (CAT) Responder, deploying their high-impact, on-demand services throughout the United States whenever there is a natural disaster.


Position Overview

Oversees companies overall operational structure while looking to create opportunities to refine processes, personnel, and infrastructure to meet current and future demands.

Job Duties

  • Manage and organize quarterly events for team building.
  • Contribute to overall business strategy.
  • Work with the leadership team to translate strategy into departmental goals and KPIs and to track success and address areas which need improvement.
  • Participates in and approves hiring decisions made by the team.
  • Conducts timely, complete, and meaningful performance management conversations.
  • Build and support recruitment, selection, and retention programs that meet business needs.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across all operations.
  • Plan, design and align capabilities for future company initiatives and expansion plans.
  • Build and cultivate strong partnerships with OPS team members to ensure career growth for all team members.
  • Manage implementation of EOS throughout the company, including bringing on and managing an Implementer.
  • Directly manage OPS teams
  • Manage all day-to-day operational functions
  • Review/develop scorecard reports and provides feedback to leadership
  • Negotiate all contracts including subcontractors and labor sources.
  • Mentor, coach, and elevate all members of the OPS team.

Position Requirements

  • Experience building high performing teams, including the ability to recognize and cultivate rising talent
  • Adept at transitioning seamlessly from a strategic level leadership to day-to-day tactical operations
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
  • Proven track record of year-over-year growth in a leadership role
