Global Infrastructure Leader and Sustainability Champion

Location – Chicago, IL

Salary - $180,000 to $195,000 plus excellent bonus and benefits

This world-leading infrastructure and manufacturing firm is currently undergoing a period of supply chain revolution and seeing unprecedented growth. In the next few months, the business plans to double the size of its supply chain team to bring a higher level of maturity and subject matter expertise across its global reach.

You will be joining an experienced and motivated supply chain organization that has been growing exponentially over the last few years and is continuing to make a tremendous impact throughout the global operations of the business.

As the Director of Materials, you will work closely with the Senior Leadership teams, including the Senior Director of Operations, and you will be responsible for maintaining the consistent leadership for materials planning, including long-term and short-term production planning. You will also work very closely with Global Procurement to ensure cost effectiveness and the identification of major savings opportunities across your site.

To be successful as the Director of Materials, you should possess the following experience:

• Experience working in a Materials Management position including working in the production planning space
• Be a change agent and able to direct and manage the culture of a site
• A bachelors degree in a relevant discipline (supply chain, engineering, business, etc.) or equivalent experience
• Experienced in working with procurement teams to identify cost saving opportunities and optimize efficiency within your site
