Job Description

Job Summary:

The Marketing Director will oversee, coordinate, and participate in the development of marketing strategies and products for the organization.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Handles discipline and termination of employees and in accordance with company policy.
  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains supervisory and management staff in the department.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Maintains knowledge on emerging products and services.
  • Identifies new market segments that will benefit from company products.
  • Prepares effective advertising campaigns based on market research.
  • Directs and implements the organizations advertising and promotional activities.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Analyzes target market information to identify and recommend effective marketing approaches.
  • Some out-of-state travel is required as well as routine visits to our properties.
  • Ability to use various software efficiently and effectively such as word processing, PowerPoint, spreadsheets, email/Outlook, presentation programs and database programs, management software, specifically with advanced experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Forecasts, drafts, implements, and oversees the departments operating budget.
  • Collaborates with senior executives to develop growth plans for the organization.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required; Masters degree preferred.
  • At least five years of experience in marketing and long-range planning required.
