We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Inventory Management to oversee and manage our inventory operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in eCommerce DTC, and possess exceptional organizational and analytical skills. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth flow of inventory, optimizing stock levels, and maximizing sales opportunities while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management:

• Ensure accurate and timely inventory tracking, monitoring, and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address inventory-related issues, including product availability, backorders, and returns.
• Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies and processes to optimize stock levels, minimize stockouts, and reduce excess inventory.
• Oversee inventory forecasting, demand planning, and replenishment to meet customer demand while minimizing lead times and costs.

2. Supply Chain Coordination:

• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality standards and delivery deadlines are met.
• Work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics partners to ensure timely and efficient procurement, production, and delivery of inventory.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and agreements.

3. Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Make data-driven recommendations to optimize inventory strategies and improve operational efficiency.
• Analyze inventory data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Generate regular reports on inventory levels, turnover, and product performance to inform decision-making processes.

4. Team Leadership and Collaboration:

• Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring their professional growth and development.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts with teams such as sales, marketing, customer service, and finance to align inventory strategies with overall business objectives.
• Lead and develop a high-performing inventory team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of inventory control methods, demand forecasting, and supply chain management principles.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in a fast-paced eCommerce DTC environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic recommendations.
• Proficient in using inventory management software and tools.
• Ability to thrive in a start-up environment with a proactive and adaptable mindset.
