Job Description

**THIS IS NOT A JOB AT FORCEBRANDS**


Remote, but ideally based in Colorado.


The ideal candidate will have experience working for or with US retailers/retail brokers and an adaptable skillset covering Accounts/Finance, Sales, and General administration and be happy to work on various projects doing whatever is required.


The working hours are 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday. Hours of work are 8am – 5pm (MDT) to support our operation in the USA.


The ideal candidate would be based in Denver/Boulder; however, remote working may be considered for the right candidate.


What you’ll be doing

  • Ensuring strong credit control and AR collections
  • Analyzing sales progress, ensuring our customers receive seamless service and delivery, tracking inventory, and identifying potential issues, as well as other administrative tasks to support the Head of North America On a day-to-day basis
  • Analyze weekly sales and payment reports from our customers to build weekly summaries in Microsoft Excel and share findings with the Head of North America and other members of the Management team
  • Ensuring accurate and prompt raising of sales invoices
  • Understand, use, and manage customer portals and systems, keeping up to date with any changes.
  • Working closely with and supporting the Head of North America on a wide variety of work streams, including sales, operations, logistics, and inventory, among others
  • Production on month-end accounts on Quickbooks
  • Understanding and challenging deductions made by our customers
  • Vendor and intercompany payment runs
  • Cash management to ensure overheads and duties are paid to terms.
  • Robust modeling of inventory movements
  • Manage weekly internal stock reports, accurately tracking products throughout the supply chain
  • Liaise with courier companies to provide the best service for the customer and product
  • Working with the UK business to reconcile the intercompany account.
  • Dealing with customers, liaising with Target and Walmart, and assisting with new customer set up and retailer onboarding
  • Assist the Head of America in communicating with key customer accounts
  • Create and edit Microsoft PowerPoint presentations for new sales opportunities
  • Manage e-commerce inventory ensuring we don’t run out of stock, identifying any red flags, and raising issues
  • Production on month-end accounts on Quickbooks
  • Work closely with internal departments across the business, such as Planning, Marketing, Customer Service
  • Leading and managing the resolution of retailer deductions


What you’ll need

  • Experience in working with or for the major retailers in the US (Target, Walmart, Kroger)
  • Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately calculate accounting figures and amounts
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work to deadlines
  • Must be a driven individual who is willing to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have a strong intuition and be able to learn new tasks quickly, completing them efficiently and with great attention to detail
  • Experience and knowledge of Quickbooks
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
