Quality Business Engineering, LLC (QBE) has an exciting opening for a Director of Growth and Sales focused on developing new business. The ideal candidate will have some active duty military service and demonstrate the ability to build relationships with Defense and International agencies (e.g., DISA, USAF, US Army, USN, NATO and selected COCOMS). The candidate's primary focus is on developing and winning opportunities in following service areas, while leveraging QBE's prime capabilities and contract vehicles:
· Mission Services
· Enterprise IT/Cyber
· Cloud Modernization
· Applications Management
· Staff Support/OPLAN Planning (AA&S)
This position will report to QBE's EVP. The successful candidate will drive the organization's strategic growth objectives through developing, refining, and understanding of its customers' priorities, and will create/ lead winning capture strategies. This critical role is responsible for management of all aspects of business development (e.g., strategic capture, proposal operations, and pricing). The growth professional will develop a partnering strategy, leading to 5-10 Prime proposals per year, totaling between $50-80 million in total award value.
This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days (M, W, TR) onsite at QBE, LLC's Haymarket, VA headquarters.

Skills Required
  • Minimum 8 years of leadership experience providing professional services for clients in the defense sector
  • Experience presenting to senior executives and customers
  • Exceptional communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Capable of identifying, establishing, and maintaining relationships with senior/mid level customer and partner officials and program stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success growing business in the DoD with additional focus on Intelligence services and/or international partners while being managed against a sales target
  • Knowledge of Government contracting acquisition trends and customer buying behaviors
  • Proven experience working with geographically diverse teams; demonstrated strength utilizing coaching and mentoring skills
  • Ability to identify key growth areas and develop new business aligned with QBE, LLC's growth strategy
  • Proven ability to collaborate within and across organizational boundaries to achieve results
  • Understanding and experience with major GWAC/IDIQs (e.g., GSA Alliant II, Oasis Plus, USN SeaPort/NXG, GSA MAS,and GSA FEDSIM)
  • Skillful and adept at empowering and engaging people to instill drive and passion into the organization
  • Goal oriented and accountable to perform and achieve assigned growth objectives
  • Understanding of Large, Mid-Tier, and Small Business partners as it relates to teaming
  • Understanding of DoD Mission Support ecosystem and customer requirements and trends
  • Experience leading capture efforts, managing business development, capture, pricing, and competitive analysis
  • Exceptional understanding of the Federal sales cycle
  • Knowledge and ability to model competitor behaviors in the market
  • Ability to develop, work with, and manage new and existing teams to accomplish performance goals
Required Travel/Certifications/Clearance
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
  • 25% Travel required (CONUS and OCONUS)
