We're a fast-growing, VC-backed company with tens of millions of dollars in revenue and registered entities in multiple countries across the MENA region. We're seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead our finance team and drive financial strategy across these entities, ensuring alignment with our business objectives and continued growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's financial operations, including managing cash flow, providing strategic financial advice to the CEO and Board of Directors, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards, and establishing financial controls to promote accuracy and prevent fraud.

Your top responsibilities:

• Manage the company's cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure that sufficient funding is available to support day-to-day operations and fuel growth. Additionally, play an active role in fundraising efforts by presenting to potential investors and building relationships with key stakeholders in the investment community.
• Oversee all aspects of accounting and bookkeeping to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Establish financial controls, including segregation of duties, to promote accuracy, prevent fraud, and ensure compliance.
• Monitor and analyze the company's financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Manage and update the company's financial model on an annual basis
• Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver high-quality financial services to the company.
• Manage the financial planning tools and budgeting process, ensuring alignment with the company's business plan and financial targets.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls that support the company's strategic goals and objectives.
• Manage the company's cash flow, working capital, and liquidity, ensuring that adequate funding is available to support operations and growth.
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and financial advisors.
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analysis, and present them to the CEO and the board of directors.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards, including tax, accounting, and reporting requirements.
• Provide strategic financial advice to the CEO and the board of directors, including investment decisions, risk management, and financial forecasting.

What we expect from you:

• Proven track record in a leadership role within a senior finance position, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a startup company.
• Prior experience in the technology industry, specifically in cloud-based services, communications, or software, is preferred.
• Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and standards, including tax, accounting, and reporting requirements.
• Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with financial software and tools.
