Director Of Finance- Americas

StevenDouglas has been exclusively engaged on a search for a Director of Finance by a large manufacturer of electronic products that is expanding operations into the Americas to lead a $100m division of this multi-billion dollar company.

This is a newly created role to lead the FP&A function for this new venture.

This FP&A leadership role will be responsible for all FP&A activity for the entity. Will manage forecasting, budget preparation, future M&A activity to include valuations and other due diligence efforts. This is a GROWTH opportunity. The individual in this role will be supporting several C-suite exec across CLP related entities and will prepare financial deck and attend weekly exec team calls.

The ideal candidate for this role would come with at least 8-10 years in FP&A or financial analysis in a large manufacturing environment.

Soft Skills: Inquisitiveness and desire to learn. A strategic mind who can think of new ideas. they like to see ambition. Someone who WANTS to be a CFO and will take advantage of the access to senior leaders in the role.

Duties Include:

• Operate as the point-person in Finance for all aspects of company's revenue generating activities, developing a deep understanding recurring revenue dynamics across product lines, client segmentations, and optimization opportunities

• Perform detailed financial analyses on projects spanning company's various commercial activities (product launches, promotional activities, pricing, and competitive response)

• Partner with Sales, Product, and Channel teams to develop and enhance standardized financial & operational measurement for revenue generating activities • Create and own internal models used to support business cases, deal & pricing evaluations

• Oversee and execute financial modeling and assist with presentation creation for investment cases supporting company's growth

• Manage monthly reporting packages for executive leadership o Provide accurate and timely reporting and analysis o Drive improvements in the quality and actionability of reporting

• Support financial and operational reporting to company's financial sponsor o Manage model updates and rollforwards o Analyze and explain variances to forecast, plan and prior year • Support capital project reporting and return on invested capital evaluations

• Support 13-week cash flow forecasting and other treasury-related activities as needed
