Job Details

As the Electrical Engineering Director, you will be a Subject Matter Expert responsible for leading the growth of existing clients and expanding into new markets within food and beverage, building materials, utilities, and specialty chemicals. Additionally, your active participation in the Systems Leadership Team will play a crucial role in implementing the vision of our organization.

Open to hybrid candidates who are willing to travel to client sites and to the office in Columbus, OH on occasion.

Requirements

• Highly prefer at least 15+ years in engineering in general
• Must have consulting experience
• Prefer candidates within a 75-mile radius of Columbus, OH
• Must have at least 8 years of experience in manufacturing and/or industrial engineering
• Must have a PE license

Maintain and Develop Existing Key Client Relationships

• Advocate for clients' interests to strengthen the bond between the company and its clientele.
• Utilize your expertise to foster and grow business relationships with current key clients.
• Create strategies for client retention and development, mentoring the operations group in their implementation.

Drive New Client Relationships

• Collaborate with other Subject Matter Experts to support the company's strategic plan for expanding its role with existing clients in your field.
• Develop relationships with new clients and contacts in existing and emerging markets within your area of expertise.
• Establish connections with various stakeholders, including providers, peers, SMEs, vendors, etc.

Develop Your Strategic Market(s)

• Formulate, execute, and implement strategies to develop your market(s)
• Demonstrate expertise through leadership in trade shows, writing papers, and delivering speeches to establish credibility.
• Evaluate market capacity, identify typical market cycles, obstacles to market entry, and resource requirements for success.

Act as Principal in Charge for Specific Market Segment Projects and Proposals

• Collaborate with the Operations Group to develop technical and market-specific training protocols, conducting seminars and lunch and learns for clients and staff.
• Lead the concept development for new proposals and projects in your strategic market when required.
• Maintain continuous communication with clients throughout project execution to ensure adherence to the approved project scope and technical approach.
