Job Description

Director Project Development – California, USA – 200k-230k base salary + 30% bonus – Remote


Vallum Associates is partnering with a leading solar developer. With strong financial backing, 5GW+ of Utility Scale Solar PV and Energy Storage projects in the US alone and 10GW+ developed globally, they are looking for a Director of Development to join their growing development team.

Requirements/Responsibilities

• Research, originate and maintain list of potential acquisitions, co-development projects and partners and actively network with industry partners to originate project acquisitions, and create brand awareness.

• Systematically undertake market research and support formulating entry strategies for developing projects in new markets.


Qualifications/Experience

• Relevant work experience in renewable energy project development environment

• Hands on development experience in WECC markets, ERCOT, SPP

• Understanding of project financial models
