Director of Corporate Development/Sponsorship - Remote

Our client, a leader in their industry, is looking for a Director Partnership Development and Emerging Platforms. This is a full remote role that will be responsible for seeking out and activating new corporate partners on a local as well as national level. This also includes understanding marketing objectives or prospective partners and their agencies to determine how a partnership can help them achieve their goals. It will also include establishing and deploying best practices in client management including but not limited to contract fulfillment, proof of performance, upselling and renewal process and managing budgets.

Qualifications

• Ability to renew and upsell partnerships
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
• Understanding of principles, practices and terminology or sponsorship sales and activation
• 5+ years experience working in venue, property or entertainment fields
• 10+ years experience in the partnership activation field.
• Ability to create and maintain strong working relationships
• Strong problem solving skills
• Ability to travel and work weekends and holidays when needed
