Job Description
Summary


Directs all aspects of marketing communications, programs, strategies, web, advertising, media services, and in-house design/procedures for both potential and existing members. Responsible for creation, production of sales support materials/promotions in cooperation with corporate communications. Leads the development of new business to include working across various functional areas (underwriting, marketing, claims, information systems, operations, etc.). Evaluates and implements necessary adjustments to marketing strategies/plans to meet the ever changing market and competitive conditions.

What You'll Do


  • Works with senior management to position/brand core product line/specialty/niche products. Implements marketing communication strategies. Directs creation of production of sales, advertising, and trade show materials, in coordination with external print vendors, purchasing, and corporate communications. Reviews/approves marketing support materials produced by internal staff and corporate communications.
  • Identifies and qualifies new business opportunities/partnerships for winning new and retaining existing business. Monitors the market to recognize trends and competitor strategies/outlook. Researches and analyzes the value of products and services and makes adjustments to maintain alignment with market.
  • Manages activities of assigned staff and identifies training needs. Develop policies and procedures and communicates expectations to staff. Approves disbursements and purchase requisitions and prepares/monitors/analyzes area expenditures.
  • Develops/directs sales campaigns/contests/promotions. Tracks results and communicates results to external producers. Solicits feedback from internal and external resources to enhance marketing programs. Works with key partners to identify new opportunities and position our products in the marketplace.


Required Work Experience


8 years communications, product development, marketing, and/or sales experience. 3 years management experience or equivalent military experience in grade E4 or above. (May be concurrent).


Required Education


Bachelor's degree in any field
