About the role

MetaMap is seeking a Director, Global HRBP, who will focus on developing and implementing strategies that align with our mission. Given the exciting pace of change, we are looking for someone who can develop and execute employee programs and activities that foster growth, innovation, and organizational effectiveness. The successful candidate should have the ability to partner with and influence leadership. In addition, you will be an advocate for MetaMap's culture and values.

Location: MetaMap is eligible to hire only in the following states: TX, UT, FL, CA.

Key responsibilities

  • Improve manager capabilities through coaching and implementation of management development programs and opportunities.
  • Enhance the MetaMap culture by developing effective programs and initiatives that keep our employees closely knit, especially in a globally distributed work environment.
  • Build and oversee a team of global HRBPs responsible for all people-related initiatives, including performance management, diversity & inclusion, retention, learning and development, investigations (depending on location), and all employee relations matters.
  • Monitor and interpret trends and metrics around employee satisfaction, attrition, turnover, etc. and establish/ implement recommendations for improvement or enhancements based on data analysis.
  • Educate, advise, and influence business leaders in all management aspects: organizational development, competency models, leadership development, career mapping, internal career mobility, employee engagement and retention, performance criteria and measurement, succession planning, and change management.
  • Serve as a trusted resource to senior leadership and employee base, guiding them through career development and interpersonal conversations.
  • Create a unified people strategy that cultivates a strong company culture that is supportive and inclusive to all employees.

Skills & Experience

  • Nice-to-have: Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese
  • A history of solid partner alignment to build and improve company culture and increase employee engagement.
  • Effective coaching and facilitation skills. Ability to influence various organizational leaders to build consensus around HR strategy and tactics.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Superb interpersonal and communication skills, including effective listening.
  • Demonstrated ability to support diverse, geographically dispersed, multicultural fast-paced environments.
  • 10+ years of experience in the People field, with significant experience in human resources, business partnering, and organizational development work for globally distributed organizations.
  • Extensive performance management and employee relations experience.
  • In-depth understanding of HR best practices, with the ability to move seamlessly from strategy development to execution.
  • Ability to bring immediate credibility to the human resources function through his/her professional qualifications and leadership skills and project the highest levels of integrity.
The base salary range* for this role is:
  • California: $183,000 - $203,000 USD
