Director, Creative Services - Remote | Wfh

At our company, we're seeking a talented and passionate Director of Creative Services to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll work closely with our leadership to bring captivating and innovative creative projects to life. Responsibilities
Lead the transformation of heritage content into captivating creative projects, ensuring appropriate budgets, timelines, and necessary resources are allocated.
Collaborate with our leadership and client services team to present and pitch ideas, recommendations, and content to clients and internal stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and engaging environment.
Provide creative direction and oversight, advising on user experience and usability for exhibits, interactives, digital platforms, publications, videos, and more.
Mentor and supervise our creative team members, fostering their growth and development while identifying future resource needs.
Identify and establish relationships with new creative partners when necessary, ensuring successful project execution.
Foster close collaboration with fellow Content & Communication team members and other departments to ensure successful and timely completion of creative projects within budget.
Support project management efforts, utilizing project management software to keep projects within scope and on deadline.
Some travel may be required.
Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
Previous experience in creative services, with a strong background in art direction or related roles within a creative or PR agency, corporate communications, or marketing team.
Proven track record of successfully pitching and championing new ideas or business solutions.
Experience leading creative projects across various media, with particular emphasis on video and digital platforms, as well as exhibits and publications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable working in a collaborative and diverse environment across multiple locations.
Entrepreneurial spirit and prior experience in a smaller business catering to large corporate clients.
Ability to lead through influence and direct authority, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Curiosity, patience, creative problem-solving skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
Knowledge or experience in history or archives is a plus (undergraduate coursework or other relevant experience).
Sports fan with a general understanding of multiple sports and sports fan culture is a plus.
