What We Do
Operating within Junior Achievement's portfolio of programming and implemented in partnership with local Junior Achievement areas, 3DE by Junior Achievement re-engineers high school education to be more relevant, experiential, and authentically connected to the complexities of the real world in order to more fully prepare today's students for the demands of tomorrow's economy.
Role Overview
Driving high-quality case delivery and student/business professional connection, the Director, Case User Experience role manages the case experience across a market portfolio of schools to ensure that the various case components are delivered to students in a consistent and cohesive manner. This role will play a critical role in helping to bridge the business and education sectors to maximize student, teacher and business professional engagement and excitement in cases.

Job Requirements
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Classroom teaching experience (K-12) or Nonprofit experience with program/project management or change management training.
  • Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School teaching experience
  • Master's degree +
  • Trainer or facilitator experience
Core Responsibilities
Classroom Support
  • Support 3DE Directors of School Leadership in thought partnership for their vision, and direction for an engaging culminating event, and experience, that demonstrates the capability of competency, and / or stimulates industry experience .
  • Review case for clarity through the lens of the student and launch teacher and incorporate additional activities and resources in the case discovery , l aunch and development process to enhance relatability and understanding as necessary.
  • Establish credibility as the case expert to support teacher/student understanding and implementation through comprehensive, detailed knowledge of the case unit/package.
  • Facilitate the case launch as a demonstration classroom . Facilitating discussion in the classroom modeling strategies for teachers to drive student engagement and understanding incorporating trained business professional as case, industry, and competency subject matter experts (SMEs).
  • Review structure for business coaching and make adjustments as needed by school and per student progress
Partner / Business Professional Support
  • Work with 3DE Directors of Market Planning to provide necessary training resources and case preparation resources for business professionals to create a turnkey experience.
  • Facilitate training of all business professionals (case challenges, case studies and senior experience) to ensure understanding of 3DE, the learning objectives (competencies/themes), their role in supporting student development, student progress (placement in JA pipeline) and how to effectively engage students in the discussion.
  • Clearly communicate to potential partners the 3DE model, experience, outcomes and the role of business professionals to support student understanding and development, as requested by JA.
Demonstrated Abilities / Desired Experience
  • Ability to analyze problems and strategize creative solutions
  • Advanced time management and execution in dynamic high-demand environment.
  • Phenomenal communication, presentation and public speaking skills
  • Motivating and stimulating communicator
  • Teaching or training experience preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office and e-learning technologies
  • Understanding of case methodologies and tools
  • Keen sense of emotional intelligence and cultural agility.
