Job Description
By joining our rapidly growing Business Transformation practice you will serve as a trusted partner to our clients. You’ll bring first-hand experience, unique perspectives, and functional knowledge to deliver tailored integrated solutions that solve today's challenges and set the foundation for future success. With support from experienced leaders and a dedicated coach, you will join a collaborative community that invites you to contribute beyond the scope of client delivery.


What You'll Do


  • Own and expand client relationships by advising on best practices for managing their business processes, overseeing project scope and ensuring excellent client service
  • Serve as a key leader in our Business Transformation practice by guiding and directing strategic firm initiatives around operations and finance function knowledge, process and technology capabilities, internal control design experience, change management and program/project management expertise to assist organizations with designing and implementing change initiatives
  • Mentor team members by coaching colleagues, provide ongoing feedback and annual performance reviews, and help project teams resolve complex issues
  • Support various Business Transformation projects including (but not limited to): system strategy and selection, process or finance improvement and optimization, operations performance improvement, change management, program or project management, data analytics, business analysis
  • Assess and escalate project issues, risks, or conflicts to leadership and suggest resolutions
  • Assist with integrations and identifying efficiencies between the client’s accounting systems and other tools
  • Play an active role in attracting, interviewing, hiring, and retaining top talent
  • Help organizations to identify, assess, and analyze business challenges and optimize their operating model within finance and accounting
  • Implement compliance programs that seek to add long-term value to the organization in addition to meeting one-off regulatory requirements
  • Share expertise in technical domain(s) with team members and clients through case studies, white papers, learning materials, and other resources
  • Review clients’ current close documentation and engage the close team, define future state process, and advise on best practices for close management while contributing knowledge and best practices related business processes (e.g., Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Financial Close, etc.)
  • Manage client accounts, projects, and engagements, including work plans, staffing, deadlines, and budgets throughout all lifecycle phases – strategy, goal-setting, deliverables, and maintaining an integrated project plan
  • Actively pursue business development opportunities, marketing a full range of services to prospective clients using existing relationships to generate new leads
What You'll Bring


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • Prior experience using one or more of the following tools: Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau and SQL is preferred
  • Coach colleagues, providing regular ongoing feedback and annual performance reviews, and helping project teams resolve complex issues
  • 15+ years of relevant experience working within professional services advising commercial companies in one or more of the following areas: financial reporting, operational accounting, implementing new accounting policy, transactions, process optimization, finance transformation, change management, operations and performance improvement, system implementation and project management
