Job Description

rEvolution is looking for a Director to join our Account Management team to lead account teams focused on integrated marketing services and activations for a portfolio of agency clients.


The Director, Account Management, is a leader within the industry and is vital in successful development, planning and execution of client programs. Working as a leader, this role leads our client programs at all levels and manages all aspects of client growth and programming while collaborating with multiple rEvolution departments to ensure that programs run flawlessly to meet clients’ needs. This individual manages the internal resources and staff to ensure that teams are working towards and achieving client objectives and agency goals.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all client-related financial and administrative compliance including maintaining program financials, contract administration, client onboarding, invoicing and PO creation, and budget forecasting
  • Support senior management on operational aspects of client programs as assigned in a leadership capacity
  • Integrate and direct internal agency service resources to ensure seamless execution and delivery of program initiatives
  • Build and manage detailed project tracking tools that serve as both a road map for client reporting and internal team organization
  • Manage project hour reports and is constantly aware of how to most efficiently utilize available resources
  • Demonstrate and exercise knowledge of project management and design processes
  • Manage responsibilities of rEvolution account management staff and provide performance feedback
  • Responsible to ensure client renewal and year-over-year program growth
  • Track and present budget status to upper management on a regular basis
  • Work with internal agency service groups to evaluate and achieve client objectives
  • Manage several integrated client programs and program teams simultaneously
  • Ensure that programs are achieving client KPIs and ensuring client is continuously developing business and meeting their goals
  • Actively seek new opportunities and assignments from both clients and third-party partners
  • Maintain and expand client relationships to facilitate delivery of integrated services and drive agency growth
  • Manage execution of recap decks for each program while evaluating data and metrics for key client takeaways to build upon the existing client relationship and future opportunities
  • Manage relationships and engage in constant communication with multiple property stakeholders in order to ensure the successful execution of client programming and identify future opportunities for program growth


Qualifications:

  • Exceptional follow up and timely execution of projects
  • Identify problems and find solutions
  • Candidates should be flexible to work long hours when necessary, which may include nights and weekends
  • Travel will be required as necessary to align with client programming and planning meetings offsite. Flexibility to work additional hours and long days when onsite
  • 10+ years of client management experience including the areas of event or logistics management at an agency, brand or sports/gaming property
  • Relish the opportunity to pick up new activities that fall broadly in the purpose of the role.
  • Prior experience in large scale sports/entertainment partnership activations, management of sponsorship assets and building a successful sponsorship portfolio strategy is a plus.
  • Proven experience and knowledge of integrated marketing communications including but limited to experiential, public relations, media, consumer insights, email marketing, sponsorship, and creative design


This hybrid role is based in our fabulous Chicago office but has a global reach.
