Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) team:


The SRM team is a supportive and dynamic team focussing on market engagement, delivering value, supply chain resilience, and information-based decision making. We strive to make the DIO an easier and more attractive organisation to do business with; encouraging new entrants for a broader & more resilient supply chain; and with increased involvement from small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) through various engagements and initiatives. The team have a good record of putting on large industry events and virtual sessions which regularly attract several hundred attendees.


Description of Commercial Business Support Manager Role:


This is a unique and varied role working as part of a close-knit team to deliver across a range of outputs that inform and support the Commercial function. The SRM team are responsible for the “2 star” boards across SRM, so you will have frequent and direct exposure to DIO senior management enabling you to develop your wider stakeholder management and understanding of governance.


You will also work collaboratively with a range of customers across both DIO and industry partners giving you an insight into the supply chain processes from various angles. Your role will be to support the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) activities ensuring we deliver accurate and timely information to our customers and engage effectively with suppliers.

  • Industry events such as, DPRTE, Meet the Buyer, UKIS and others as required
  • Supplier Management Board
  • Economic & Market overviews
  • Supplier workshops and webinars
