Summary
The GE Digital Solution Architect is responsible for activities and processes that help the sales organization achieve business objectives. As a Solution Architect you will influence approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working. Envision yourself making strong impact towards quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team, guided by commercial practices and policies that may be shaped by the role. The Solution Architect has significant control/influence over commercial priorities. There is moderate autonomy within the role to enter into/execute Commercial arrangements. High levels of Commercial judgement are required to achieve outcomes required. Roles and Responsibilities
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.
- Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems within projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns or customers. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.
- Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
- A trusted technical advisor on the Commercial Sales Team. Aligns capabilities to specific outcomes, creates reference architectures, and calculates potential solution value.
- Developing specialized knowledge of latest commercial developments in own area and communication skills to influence others. Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in Sales & Digital Solution Architecture).
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. GE may agree to sponsor an individual for an employment visa now or in the future if there is a shortage of individuals with particular skills.
- Experience in Sales & Digital Solution Architecture.
- Experience with GE Digital's Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS)

The salary range for this position is $117,040USD -$175,560USD. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus. Available benefits include be Health, Medical, 401K, and Paid Leave.
