Responsibilities


What You’ll Do


The Digital Content Manager is responsible for social media campaigns, visual assets, the SAG Awards intern program, consisting of posting ads, interviewing, selecting, hiring, training and managing various interns throughout the year and website management. This position is also a key member of the production PR team actively working with digital platforms, creating graphics, and communicating with outlets.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities


  • Create, execute and maintain social content across multiple platforms inclusive of copywriting, design, editing and publishing
  • Maintain and update SAG Awards EPK materials for press.
  • Research social media trends and report on social media analytics.
  • Manage interview process for internship program. Post ads, select, hire, train and manage various interns throughout the year. Oversee Intern schedules, assignments, and projects.
  • Monitor social media performance and engagement, and oversee photos/video/website posting on nominations morning and show day/night.
  • Develop content for all SAG Awards social media platforms and conceive and implement social media campaigns and special promotions.
  • Assist in servicing news releases and alerts through MailChimp as needed during off-season.
  • Vet suggestions for SAG Awards Ambassadors and Influencers in conjunction with the Publicity Team.
  • Work with network and digital agencies on social media strategy, campaigns and visuals.
  • Track and monitor SAG Awards media coverage and flag inquiries that may require a response.
  • Build and expand SAG Awards relationships with influencers.
  • Contribute to overall PR and Marketing strategy sessions.
  • Work with Publicity staff on advancing and developing partnerships with social media platforms, influencers, podcasts, and digital outlets


Creative & Branding


  • Work with the SAG Awards PR and Sponsor teams on creating photo and video shot lists for SAG Awards House photographers for nominations, behind-the-scenes events, show day, and post-show use.
  • Fulfill photo and SAG Awards related graphic needs for SAG-AFTRA Magazine
  • Catalog and manage all visual assets for social, marketing, nominations, telecast, and sponsors.
  • Manage a comprehensive archive of digital assets including clips, photos, graphics, and videos.
  • With Producers, develop and manage the creation of branding collateral including: style guides, logos, posters, ads, and other branded material .


Web


  • Collaborate with IT to implement features for various sections of the website and to troubleshoot web-related challenges.
  • Manage sagawards.org email accounts and groups
  • Working with Awards and IT departments, manage and create visuals and special webpages (e.g. FYC & voting pages) for websites.


Awards


  • Assist with member feedback, questions and outreach as needed.
  • Research and report on life achievement candidates, host candidates, and potential presenters across social media platforms and web.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Producer or Coordinating Producer.
  • Manage and oversee photo submissions for SAG Awards consideration.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities


  • Ability to multitask and prioritize efficiently
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; experience with Premiere or After Effects a plus
  • Experience managing a high volume of requests and asset deliverables from different internal partners
  • Able to work under multiple managers and to ask for direction when needed
  • Working knowledge of the entertainment industry and social media practices
  • Photography, graphic design, video and/or web design knowledge
  • Able to work efficiently and independently in both remote and open office environment
  • Self-motivated, resourceful and impeccable judgment
  • Proven ability to track social analytics
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must be extremely organized and detailed oriented; able to prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters proactively; and follow-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office and Google Suite, preferably on a Mac

Minimum Qualifications


  • 3-5 years of experience with a production company, studio, network, or entertainment agency in social media management or digital marketing. Intern experience applicable.

  • The salary range for this position is $65,861.00 – $74,094.00 annually along with excellent employee benefits and perks such as a 35-hour work week.
