Job Description

Software DevOps Engineer

Hawthorne, CA

4+ month contract to hire

$70,000- $90,000 salary upon conversion


Immediate hire on a growing team. Will f ocus on the role of software engineering in the design and development of embedded systems. Software engineer will perform design\code\testing of software that controls these components as well as providing software to automate the testing of these components. Will be responsible for embedded systems and kernel development. Develop device drivers and embedded firmware. Handle application performance tuning, debugging, testing and supporting software releases. Works as part of an integrated product team using Agile development methodology.

  • Experience in C, C++, Bash, Linux
  • Experience with GPIO, SPI and Serial Communication on ARM processors
  • Requirements:MS or BS in Computer Science or related engineering field
  • Experience with YOCTO for building Linux kernel
  • Previous Agile development experience
  • 1 - 5 years of experience in the field of Software Development
  • Experience with GIT or similar version control system
  • Familiarity with FPGA design and integration
  • Experience with embedded software coding and algorithm development
