Summary

We’re in search of an experienced Desktop Support with ability to identify and troubleshoot defective equipment and ability to identify and troubleshoot software and application issues.

Job Title: Technology Services - Service Desk

Location: Frankfort, KY 40601

Duration: Long term indefinite Contract

Status: Onsite

MUST HAVE

• The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting agency hardware, systems software, and applications software portfolio, including maintenance of data dictionaries, equipment and software installation and upgrades, data conversions, system utilities and change control as well as coordinating problem resolution and referrals to other support areas.
• Determine and resolve hardware issues prior to deployment.
• Possess network room knowledge and experience.

Preferred Skills: (Licenses, Regulations, Certificates, Advanced Education, etc.)

• Computer Technical Certification is a plus in the following MOS, MTA, MCP, A+ OR MCITP
• General Understanding of the ITIL Framework
• Network Operating Systems

Typical Working Conditions And Unique Physical Requirements

• Must be able to climb ladder.
• Work is primarily performed in an office setting.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• 08:00 – 17:00 M-F

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Associates Degree with 2+ yrs. job related experience or High School Diploma with 4+ yrs. job related experience.
