Overview
We’re seeking a talented midlevel designer to join our quickly growing creative team. The role will be responsible for crafting the visual design and execution of our brands. Under the guidance and direction of the Creative Director, you will build concepts and execute the visual language for the brands across consumer touchpoints, including packaging, promotional materials, visual communications, eCommerce, social media, etc. Ensure brand guidelines and directives are embraced consistently and creatively. Communicate and justify conceptual and directional choices.
Responsibilities

• Stay current with the changing trends in the field and best practices.
• Must be able to work in a team environment with other departments to reach common company goals.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and work with the Project Manager to meet deadlines.
• Conceptualize original and unique brand identities, designs, and illustrations for current and future Cirkul products.

Qualifications

• Has created award-winning work in their experience.
• A pulse on what is relevant in culture, design, and technology and can push for and help set trends.
• Experience with packaging design, digital, and branding
• BA in Graphic Design or related degree/education
• Ability to communicate well with team members and articulate rationale for design decisions to VPs, Executive Directors, Junior Designers, Project Managers, and Copywriters.
• A self-starter attitude with excitement to work in a fast-paced, low-ego environment.
• Extensive knowledge of digital asset development, as well as printed marketing materials, including print ads, sales collateral, merchandising, and event materials
• Ability to translate business goals into innovative, meaningful, and differentiated digital, interactive, social media, and brand experiences.
• A solid understanding of design principles, including layout, typography, and color theory.
• An online portfolio that demonstrates a passion for great design and shows stylistic breadth, attention to detail, and usability.
• Master of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign, as well as emerging interactive design tools such as FIGMA, Sketch, or any prototyping software
• 5+ years of experience working as a Designer/Digital Designer at an agency or brand
