AECOM is seeking a highly talented Design Project Manager for immediate employment to work fully remote.
The Amtrak ADA Stations Program (ADASP) is responsible for bringing Amtrak stations into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. The ADASP implements design and construction of infrastructure improvements to provide accessibly to Amtrak’s intercity rail transportation system. This position will be part of a Joint Venture (AECOM & Jacobs) that is providing staff and services to Amtrak.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Amtrak’s representative to manage and coordinate with external entities such as design consultants (Designer of Record-DOR) Host Railroads, General Contractors, State Historic Preservation Offices and Local Authorities. Must be flexible and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Prepare scope documents and concept drawings.
- Ability to maintain Schedules, prepare reports and presentations, edit specifications, review change orders and shop drawings.
- Provides design guidance and oversight to General Contractor during Construction Phase Services (CPS)
- Provides design guidance to the Designer of Record and enforces Amtrak standards with a focus on ADA compliance.
- Coordinate with internal Amtrak departments such as Passenger Operations, Engineering, Legal, Real Estate and Government Affairs.

Minimum Requirements :
- BA/BS + 6 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications :
- Demonstrated design and organizational skills with interest in renovation, transportation, and historic preservation.
- Previous experience with the International Building Code, ANSI A117.1 and ADA Guidelines DOTAS 2006
- Registered Architect (or Professional Engineer)
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite.

Offered rate of compensation (Washington locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. $92,000 - $155,00
