Design Engineer Jobs

What You Will Experience In This Position

• Develops resolution of problems of limited scope following standard procedures.
• Performs various engineering and circuit design tasks within our innovative paperless workflow process.
• Applies engineering techniques to design and/or manufacture products at the lowest overall cost and enhance product value to the customer by either Project, Product or Value Engineering.
• Provides engineering design and analysis within assigned project scope of work. This may include layouts, specification development, and engineering drawings. Assumes responsibility for cost, schedule, quantity, and budget control for the engineering scope of work.
• Responsible for research & development and design of new or existing products.
• Proactively establish customer relationships at appropriate levels and handle client expectations relative to technical execution methodologies, scope, schedule, progress, and technical change management. Impact to the work in own department and occasionally to other areas and functions.
• Use advanced software such as NavisWorks, SmartPlant, AutoCAD and our in-house programs TRACERLYNX and PROMAN to optimize our design process.

You Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
• Previous heat tracing, power design, and/or field engineering experience is a plus, but not required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to present and influence views in a clear and compelling manner.
• Possess solid time management skills.
