Exciting things are happening at Edwards Vacuum where we manufacture a wide variety of industrial vacuum pumps for the semiconductor industry! We are experiencing record sales and have recently moved into a brand-new facility in Haverhill, MA. Haverhill offers beautiful sights and is located half-way between the City of Boston and the beautiful New England Seacoast.

The Demand Planner for CTIP delivers demand forecasts for rolling 12 months periods to proactively catch the significant changes. As well, the role orchestrates the forecast process, working with Key Customer accounts and Product Management to deliver a consolidated, challenged and signed-off input to the Product Company and the S&OP executive forum. Additionally, the role reviews the forecast and highlights the trends, risks and uncertainty where known in CRM, through the audit and maintenance of the master data mainly through APO-DP and BW.

The Demand Planner role works with the BPI and CRM Support team and provides and supports the training for the forecast process. They are responsible to measure forecast accuracy and to provide root cause investigation to drive Continuous Improvement of the process to deliver an improved forecast.

• Provide analytical and reporting support to a business generating ~$200M in revenue annually (& growing)
• Collaborate with and consult with a wide range of people across the business. Position has no direct reports although a high degree of interpersonal and human relations skills is required.
• Provide a flexible and pro-active approach to cope with constantly a changing environment and priorities.
• Exhibit technical literacy for data analyzing using SAP, advanced Excel, VBA, BW query...
• Possess the ability to Influence and communicate in a cross cultural environment.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING...

• Drive for continuous improvement and willingness to engage in process and systems development and change
• Knowledge of Advanced Planning systems and reporting – SAP APO, Oracle or other ERP system
• Strong data analytical capabilities, to enable trend analysis, root cause investigation and corrective action formulation, supported by continuous improvement techniques
• Strong verbal and written communications skills required. Ability to multitask & work quickly and accurately under pressure. Responsive to deadlines.
• Advanced Proficiency with Excel / Microsoft Office
• Experience in the semiconductor industry (beneficial but not required)
• Ability to understand the forecasting process and interfaces with other systems and data sources.
• Bachelors or advanced degree with 8 years experience in planning or forecasting related role preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skill able to communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
• Flexibility to accommodate multiple time zone working
