We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Deep Learning Postdoctoral Consultant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing our deep learning model for the analysis of images generated by a 3D microscope. This is a unique opportunity to apply your scientific expertise in a business setting and contribute to the development of groundbreaking technology in the field of biotechnology.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement deep learning algorithms for the analysis of 3D tissue images.
2. Collaborate with our team to understand the requirements and constraints of our imaging system and develop models accordingly.
3. Conduct rigorous testing and validation of models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
4. Contribute to the writing of presentations for both internal and external audiences.
5. Stay updated with the latest deep learning and 3D image analysis advancements and incorporate relevant techniques into our models.

Qualifications:

1. Ph.D. in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field with a focus on deep learning.
2. Experience in developing deep learning models for image analysis.
3. Programming skills in Python and familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
4. Experience with 3D image analysis, preferably of medical images esp. biological tissues.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
6. Good communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts to a non-technical audience.

Preferred but Not Necessary:

1. Experience in a startup environment.
2. Some knowledge or experience with microscopy general concepts.
3. Prior experience in consulting or other roles requiring a high level of technical expertise and communication skills.
