Data Migration Specialist - Remote

ProfitSolv is a SaaS business services provider for the legal and accounting industry. We are looking for a Data Migration/Extraction Specialist to join our growing team! ProfitSolv is hiring this position for our family companies, CosmoLex and Rocket Matter.:
The primary function of this position is to communicate ProfitSolv’s data migration process to clients, define the scope of work to migrate data from the client’s existing systems, analyze and resolve issues, and successfully completing the data migration process.

As a Data Migration/Extraction Specialist, you will:

• Present ProfitSolv’s data migration process, evaluate existing billing & accounting setup, provide quotes, and prepare and deliver service quotes to clients.
• Provide technical support for data migration process to ensure it runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Manage the migration process, including advising client on the advantages of and overcoming objections to the process, and make recommendations to overcome clients’ pain points.
• Evaluate existing computer systems to determine how best to move data from one system to another.
• Create and collect signed Digital Data Migration Collection Agreements and/or other Agreements as needed.
• Participate in a collaborative team environment, including a weekly project review call to stay current on project stats, assist with resolving issues, and making recommendations to improve outcomes.
• Provide clients with data extraction reviews and ensure their understanding.

A great fit for this position has:

• Demonstrable ability to learn intricacies of legal practice management/accounting programs.
• Experience in a legal/database software preferred
• - Background with accounting/bookkeeping - both cash and accrual preferred.
• Strong ability to organize and keep track of numerous projects daily
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or related field preferred
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Accounting skills with an understanding of cause/effects of data transactions.
• Experience as a Paralegal or office bookkeeper is strong plus
